The projects are to be created for the ecosystem, a decentralised financial structure for cryptocurrency. the aim of the projects is to generate useful services, or to provide the ability to generate income remotely, for people living in unbanked regions of the world, using just a simple smartphone API 04 : empowering the unbanked 01 Who are the unbanked? Today there are 2.5 billion people on&nbspEarth without access to basic financial services. They are left dependent upon cash and deprived of&nbspany hope for stability or the chance to improve their living conditions. 02 What is ? 's primary goal is the financial inclusion of the world's unbanked through the use of blockchain technology, which ensures the safety and stability of&nbspfinancial operations. 03 The challenge The aim of the Global Challenge is to bring together a community of like-minded individuals, from which the 10 best projects will be selected for a chance&nbspto enter the ecosystem. 04 05 What is the Expedition What is the Expedition The teams behind the three best projects will be sent on a trip to Africa, where they will meet with local unbanked populations to learn about their lives and financial habits. Developers will meet with representatives from various different communities, conduct interviews, model games based around and develop an understanding of local culture and customs. This will enable the testing of hypotheses and perfection of the projects, taking into account the developer’s newly gained knowledge of the local people. 05 06 On the way to Kenya We have selected Kenya as it is one of the safest African countries, with a large unbanked population and widespread access to mobile internet. Those taking part in the trip will receive all the necessary inoculations and will travel a well-established route with a professional guide and security. the expedition will take place 10 - 19 November 2017 06 07 Entry requirements The Global Challenge is open to entrepreneurs, blockchain projects developers, programmers, marketing specialists, and economists. 01 Background Previous experience of&nbspstarting business projects, working on IT projects or start-ups 02 Citizenship Citizens of any country can take part 03 For teams Teams should be made up of a&nbspminimum of two people, of whom one should be a programmer 04 For individuals Anyone can join a team or create their own until 30 September 2017. 07 08 Accept the Challenge You can take part with either an idea for a start-up or an operational project which can be adapted for .
